Claim · 2020 · Miracle Mineral Solution (MMS) / chlorine dioxide protocol
Genesis II Church websites claimed MMS could cure, mitigate, treat, prevent, or diagnose COVID-19, including a claim that 14 confirmed European COVID-19 cases recovered after taking MMS.
The FDA’s 8 April 2020 warning letter to Mark Grenon, Joseph Grenon, Jordan Grenon, and Jim Humble quotes their websites claiming “14 people who were confirmed cases of COVID-19 (in Europe), took MMS and have recovered their health,” with specific hourly dosing instructions for adults and children, and states MMS was not approved for treatment of COVID-19 or any other use. The FDA’s separate consumer update states the agency is “not aware of any research showing that these products are safe or effective for treating any illness.”
