Jim Humble (1932-2023) self-published The Miracle Mineral Solution of the 21st Century in 2006 and later co-founded the Genesis II Church of Health and Healing with Mark Grenon, structuring MMS distribution as a religious “sacrament” exchanged for donations. CBC News reported that Humble claimed to be a billion-year-old god from the Andromeda galaxy. Confronted on camera by ABC News in 2016 about telling parents to give MMS to autistic children and women with breast cancer, he wrote to his followers afterward, “Today, I say MMS cures nothing!” — and went on to describe it as one of several “important health tools.” His own website reports he died in 2023 and continued publishing new MMS-related content under his byline years afterward.
