SUMMARY
Long's own self-published 1830 pamphlet setting out his claimed system and reproducing testimonials in his own favour; a second edition followed in 1831. Digitized in full by Wellcome Collection (128 pages, IIIF presentation manifest b21064763); rights confirmed Public Domain Mark via the Wellcome Collection catalogue API. The title page (canvas 5 of the digitized volume) is used as the case's self-published-pamphlet artifact image; canvas 1 is a blank cover/binding leaf and canvases 2-4 are a library bookplate, a manuscript inscription, and a blank leaf, confirmed by direct visual inspection of each page image (a first attempt to use canvas 1 as the title page was caught and corrected during the media vision-review pass, see grounding log).
NOTES

John St John Long’s self-published 1830 pamphlet, in which he set out his own claimed treatment system and printed testimonials from patients and society witnesses in his defence; referenced by title in the DNB 1893 entry and Wikipedia as one of his two publications (the second being his 1831 Critical Exposure). Digitized in full by Wellcome Collection; this bundle uses its title page (the fifth digitized canvas, confirmed by direct visual inspection after an initial mis-selection of the blank first canvas was caught in the media vision-review pass) as an artifact image representing Long’s own claims in his own words.
