SUMMARY
Peer-reviewed 2024 case report of a fatal DNP intoxication in a 21-year-old bodybuilder who purchased DNP from a gym contact; documents that DNP intoxication cases with fatal outcomes have shown a resurgence since 2010 across the English-speaking world, Northern and Eastern Europe, and Italy, and that there remains no risk-free dose and no antidote. Used as evidence of a DNP fatality reported in the medical literature in 2024; it corroborates rather than proves continued availability (2024 is the report's publication year, not a dated market observation).
NOTES

Recent case report, published 2024, of a fatal DNP intoxication in a young bodybuilder who bought DNP from a gym contact — evidence that DNP fatalities were still being reported in the medical literature in the mid-2020s (a fatality reported in 2024, not a dated death and not a sales surface), corroborating rather than proving the intervention’s continued illicit availability.
