SUMMARY
Public-domain 1910 encyclopedia entry (unsigned, per the Catholic Encyclopedia's standard practice). States Kneipp was ordained in 1852, became confessor at the Wörishofen convent in 1855 and parish priest in 1880, and that 'the rich as well as the poor came to be treated, and his fame spread throughout Germany'.
